101 Great Places to Eat Out in the UAE, the local show produced for Fox and Star World MENA, have had the pleasure of joining Head Chef Andrea Tarini at Taste of Italy by Heinz Beck, the first casual dining gourmet restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck, at Galleria Mall recently. Andrea took the presenter through a cookery demonstration where he showed us the steps to perfecting a mouthwatering main dish and crafting a Michelin-worthy dessert.
During the live cooking segment, the presenter was delighted in the selection of unique starters which included the Burrata con Verdure in Pinzimonio (Burrata, zucchini, carrots, asparagus and fennel salad), Polpettine Fritte di Melanzane e Menta (Deep fried eggplant and mint parcels with spicy tomato sauce) along with a selection of cured premium Italian meats.
For the main course, Chef Andrea captivated viewers by preparing Taste of Italy’s delectable pasta dish, the Tortelli di Melanzane, Pomodoro, Olio al Basilico (Aubergine, tomato salsa and basil oil).
The demonstration concluded on a high note with one of its best-selling desserts, the Deconstructed Tiramisu. Created by Heinz Beck’s team in Italy, this signature dessert’s unique presentation added a flavorful flair to an award-winning menu.
